R&D CENTRE

To keep pace
with the growing competition, the changing needs of the market, the
Company set up an in-house Research & Development Centre
in 1996 with an investment of Rs. 5 crores.
The centre is
recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research,
Government of India Since 1997.

This is the
first independent R & D Centre established by an SSI unit in
Gujarat.. The Centre is equipped with modern facilities for product
development and testing.

Before creating separate in house R&D centre in November 1996, the technology of manufacture of following Precipitated Silica grades existed with MSPL and which are developed with gaining experience in the field and as per the customer's requirement since 1978.

With the functioning of a separate in-house R & D Centre from November 1996, the following technologies of the various specialised Silicas are developed by the in-house R&D centre till date.

NON RUBBER APPLICATIONS
- ABSIL - 100 ( Medium Cleaning Abrasive Silica )
- ABSIL - 200/ ABSIL - HCC( Hihg Cleaning Abrasive Silica )
- ABSIL - 100(L) ( Low Cleaning Abrasive Silica)
- MAG Series - AGGLOMORETED SILICA (Fragile-granules) for dental formulations with attractive colors (White,Blue,Pink,Green,..)
- MMG Series - SENSORY SILICA (Non-fragile-granules) for dental formulations with attractive colors (White, Blue, Pink, Green, ...). Recently developed MMG-WT (With TiO2), BMT-Blue (Mentholated Silica granules) to improve the sensory feel / asthetic look / mouth feel in the formulations. Available for verities for various formulations.
- MFIL - TS & TS 1: Hydrophobic silicas (Treated silicas for Cosmetics, Tonners, Inks, Defoamer applications)
- MFIL 300 ( For Plastics )

- MFIL - P(S) ( For Silicone Rubber Applications )
- Modified process for the manufacture of MFIL - 200.
